Our Mission
To actively engage with unreached people groups in East Africa and the Sahel region to empower local leaders and establish local churches, all through making the word of God accessible to all.
We employ oral strategies as a cornerstone of our approach. We focus on translating the Scriptures into vernacular languages, ensuring accessibility for all. Additionally, we train local churches and communities in the art of storytelling and singing as effective means to learn and teach the Word of God within their cultural context.
About Us
Harvest Mission Ethiopia is a locally founded Mission Organization that has a primary goal of building relationships with people from different people groups, cultures, languages, and religious backgrounds. We use the relationships that we form to help people hear and share God’s story.
History
It was founded on May 18, 2005, by two Ethiopians; who believe God has entrusted them to evangelize and plant indigenous churches among unreached people groups and equip leaders.
